i'm a few days from having the internet! Well, on my computer. There is internet connection in my roommate's room, but i feel weird going in there when he's home... so i havent had much access to it.
What's gonna happen with internet coming at me?

Well, i'm going to start an art blog for employers and watchers to watch what i'm doing. I dont think i'm going to spend much time on deviantart anymore. It's about that time to step away from this site. I've gotten what i could out of DA and i have had some great memories here,(others are rather painful to recollect...), but i need to feel professional. Deviantart is too casual for my needs now, and i need an upgrade.

This is what i'm going to do instead of getting a new account! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone who watches me now to come check it out when i announce where it is, when it's done. I dont have any clue -- no, wait, that's not true. I do have an idea of which site i'm going to choose. My boyfriend has the name on him, though. I dont remember what it's called at the moment.
...but anyways! I plan to be much more active on this future site!

On a different note -- I've bought several things over the past month or so!
One - a tablet! I've upgraded my crappy tablet that only worked for a few minutes or less before it turned off completely. Now i have a bamboo~ it's pretty. ^w^

I now have a mp3 player, too! I'm not sure if i uploaded a journal explaining what happened to my ipod about five months ago, but my car got broken into and they stole that from me.
so now i have a creative zen, 32g! I've only had it for a night since it came in the mail yesterday, and i'm still personalizing it. I like it so far, though! ^^

I've bought several art supplies that i'm really excited about using! I have some prismacolor sketch pens and i'm in looooooove~! Soooo much better than the ones that came in the kit from my school! So, along with that, i bought a brand new (well, not so much now, but a month ago this was true) sketch book! I'm dedicating this strictly to pen, marker, or ink drawings. much concept art is to come out of this. :3 Something i need much practice in. I'll be scanning these pages in eventually to my future site.

and on a less exciting note - i found a hat that looks good on me! and that is amazing, let me tell you. I bought the scarf that matched it, too. I might upload a pic of me in it, i'm not sure. Maybe on my future site. ;3


I'm taking some cool classes next term!
They consist of advanced character design, digital ink and paint, advanced texturing, advanced storyboarding!
I'm gonna be busy with half drawing classes and half computer classes... but it will be refreshing to learn stuff that i want to learn!
